Helen Lorentz

My background is in the Higher Education Sector and I currently work at Leeds Beckett University, as a Senior Management Accountant. I lead on budget preparation, financial forecasting, and management reporting for two academic departments.  I have 3 children; a stepson who attends Horsforth High School, a son who has just started at Newlaithes and a daughter who attends a local nursery.  

I joined the governing body in 2022 as a parent governor. I have already been struck by how hard working and dedicated all of the staff at the School are, and I hope I can assist the School in meeting their goals.
